Dallas Police Chase After Billiards Hall Shooting
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Police in Dallas gave chase early Wednesday after officers saw a suspect firing a gun from a car fleeing a billiards hall. The incident happened just before 2:30 a.m. at Hawley's Billiards, located along Alpha Road near Montfort Drive.
A police officer spotted a suspect vehicle firing shots, and started to give chase.
The vehicle crashed into a curb along Alpha Road, at the Dallas North Tollway, but kept moving and led police down Alpha Road just past Midway Road into Farmers Branch. At least two suspects were taken into custody.
The shooting victim was taken Parkland Hospital in Dallas. His injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
Crime scene investigators were called to the shooting scene.
