Distracted Driver Hits 13-Year-Old Boy

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – A driver distracted by an auto shop fire struck a 13-year-old boy Monday night.
A fire lieutenant said the boy was running across the street into traffic to look at the fire when he was hit.
Emergency responders already on the scene quickly helped the boy who was seriously injured.
He was rushed by ambulance to Cook Children's Hospital.
The fire destroyed an office inside the auto shop. Investigators have yet to determine the cause of the fire. No one was hurt in the fire.
