Dirty Water A Problem For Some In White Settlement

WHITE SETTLEMENT ( CBS11) – Neighbors on Ronald Street are fed up with dirty water coming out of their sinks and shower heads.
They say it's been going on for months now and they want it fixed.
Candice Lasiter said, "It does not taste right at all. We don't drink it... bottled water any time we're drinking."
The neighbors say the dirty water is coming from a well house on the block with dirty rusted pipes.
They say besides dirty water at home, the well house sometimes overflows and spills water down the street leaving a long rusted stain down the length of the entire block.
Don Dunbar, who also lives on the same block said, "The city of White Settlement needs to get their act together and get this mess cleaned up."
The city manager told CBS 11 they issue stems from a well that was recently drilled. He agreed it is an ongoing issue without a proper solution. Right now all the city can do is routinely flush out the pipes.
Another neighbor, Vickie Williams says there are health concerns at her house with two young girls and echoed the sentiments of all those we spoke to on Ronald Street saying, "They need to get it taken care of and get it fixed."
