Dirk Nowitzki Attends Screening Of His Movie

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - 13-time NBA All Star Dirk Nowitzki made an appearance in Uptown Dallas, Wednesday night.
He attended the screening of his movie "The Perfect Shot" at the Magnolia Theatre in the West Village Shopping Center.
Here Nowitzki talks about his movie experience.
Some of his Mavericks teammates showed up in support, including Chandler Parsons.
The movie was two years in the making, but, when we asked "The Big German" when he was drafted into the NBA back in 1998, if he ever thought he'd be a movie star, he sounded like he preferred to avoid the Hollywood lights.
"The Perfect Shot" is more of a documentary, so Dirk said there was no acting involved, just authentic interviews from family & other people pivotal to his development as an NBA Champion.
