DFW Movie Theaters Showing 3rd Presidential Debate

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The final presidential debate is set to take place on Wednesday night in Las Vegas, just 19 days before the election. Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton and Republican nominee Donald Trump are hoping to win over any voters who may still be undecided.
Matthew Wilson, a political science professor at Southern Methodist University, says undecided voters might be swayed by a live crowd but there's still time for candidate excitement to dissipate. "Being in a live, interactive setting with other people… physically surrounded by other people, talking to them, listening to them, feeding off that energy of the crowd -- that's going to have more of an effect than social media interaction."
But making a decision may prove challenging, in light of recent controversies.
Trump is battling multiple allegations of sexual assault and harassment, while Clinton is dealing with the fallout from a series of released documents which seem to indicate that a State Department official pressed the FBI to change the classification of a Clinton email found on her private server.
Of course, you do not have to be in Las Vegas to watch the fireworks on the debate stage. Several movie theaters across North Texas will be hosting watch parties on Wednesday night so that you can experience the historic event on the big screen. Voters from both sides of the aisle are invited, along with those who are still undecided.

Many of the movie theaters will also be featuring themed cocktails at the bar and special concession stand combos to snack on throughout the night. The show starts at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Watch the debate with fellow North Texans and then stick around afterward to discuss the two candidates.
