DFW Makes Road Rage List
Every day across the U.S., drivers become enraged behind the wheel, whether during highway commutes or grocery-store runs. But when anger and frustration turns to violence, the result is road rage.
Each year, Connecticut-based automobile club AutoVantage surveys 2,500 drivers nationwide to learn where the hotbeds of rage are. For several years, Miami was the road-rage capital of the country. This year it's New York.
Not so surprisingly, the most recent data also show that distracted driving, such as texting and talking on the phone, causes more violent incidences than any other activity. To help you avoid the hostilities, here are the top 10 American cities where road rage is ramped.
