OXNARD (105.3 THE FAN) - Why did Dez Bryant risk injury Thursday by over-celebrating a training-camp touchdown by dunking the ball over the crossbar?

"I was juiced up!" the Cowboys receiver told 105.3 The Fan.

It might not be a sound reason but it's Dez's truth, as he provided the Cowboys with brief scare as he grabbed his left hamstring and ceased practicing after the celebration.

Bryant suggested his hamstring might've been a little tight coming into the day. He participated in one play after the dunk before trainers shut him down (and taking away his helmet).

"I'm going to get it checked out but it's nothing major," Bryant told me, unsure he'd even bother with an MRI. "I'm totally OK."

He later tweeted that he was doing good.

Dez and COO Stephen Jones engaged in a goofing-around conversation at the end of the day during which Jones animatedly clutch his chest as if his heart was skipping beats. And owner Jerry Jones made it clear he'd prefer a toned-down celebration next time when asked if he ever needs to see that again.

"Not at all," Jones said with a smile. "I know he can get there."
