Devastated Husband Talks About Losing Wife, Mother Of 2
THE COLONY (CBSDFW.COM) - A husband who lost his wife and mother to their two children made a plea for justice on Wednesday night in the hopes of finding who committed the murder.
The Colony Police Department said Samira Siwakoti was shot and killed by a man shortly after he robbed her at the store the couple owned off of Main Street. Investigators said the man walked into the store, stole money and then shot the woman one time in the face, killing her.
"I don't have no words. Nothing else. Just that I'm missing her. I'm still hoping that she'll come from the store. When I go to the store, I'm still hoping that I'll see here there," said Nabaraj Siwakoti, the victim's husband.
Nabaraj Siwakoti does not understand why his wife had to die if all the suspect was after was money.
"My wife, she did nothing else to hurt nobody else. She was just working, working hard all the time. And then what did they do? They shoot her. It didn't take that long, only a second," said Siwakoti.
Samira Siwakoti was a mother of two young children.
"What can I tell them? How can I tell (them) about momma? I don't have the mom for them," said Siwakoti.
Investigators said the suspect was seen getting into a black, four-door vehicle and said it is possible he was working with someone else to pull off the crime.
"I've been doing this for about 25 years and I would say this is probably the most heinous act I've seen," said Lt. Darren Brockway of The Colony Police Department.
Siwakoti said his store has had thefts in the past, but could not have anticipated it would ever escalate to losing the love of his life.
"My wife is not here in the world. Just imagine how much it's going to hurt if you lost your loved one. Don't do more murders. I don't want nobody else to get hurt. That's all I want," said Siwakoti.
Oak Farms Dairy is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
The family said it has yet to make funeral arrangements.
