DENTON (CBSDFW.COM) - The transport of a transformer from Denton to Bryan is expected to cause a slew of traffic problems Thursday afternoon.

Denton Police are warning drivers on their Facebook page about the route of the transport vehicle, which measures more than 100' long and 18' wide.

>>CHECK TRAFFIC CONDITIONS<<

The route is as follows: Due to the size of the transformer, Texas Department of Motor Vehicles has set the following route the subcontractor has to travel. They will travel from Precision Rd east on Airport to Bonnie Brae, north on Bonnie Brae to the s/b service road and then south to Teasley and exiting s/b Teasley to FM 2499 in Corinth. The convoy will then continue on 2499 to FM 1171 and then west to 35W but we will not be involved in the portion.

Denton Police expect the transformer to be out of the city limits by 4 p.m.
