Denton Police looking for a possible serial robber
Police have identified the man who held up the Johnny Joe's convenience store on September 8th as 20-year-old Michael Ladell Effinger.
Police say Effinger may be responsible for three other robberies, including the robbery of a Valero gas station last night. Police say the robber shows a gun but has yet to fire it.
Effinger is described as being 5'7", 155 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, tattoos on both wrists along with tattoos on his neck, hands and chest. Effinger also has a scar near his right eye. Michael Ladell Effinger should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Denton County Crime Stoppers is also offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of Effinger.
