DENTON, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) — The Denton Police Department is handing out free gun locks — no questions asked — as part of Project Childsafe.
Project Childsafe is a program of the National Shooting Sports Foundation to promote firearms safety and education.
People can grab one gun lock per household at the police department's front desk.
