Denton Crash Leaves 22-Year-Old Dead, 5-Year-Old Boy Critical

DENTON (CBSDFW.COM) — Police are investigating a car accident that left a 5-year-old boy hospitalized and a 22-year-old woman dead.
Police say Jorge Ochoa, 33, was driving in the wrong lane on Sherman Drive when he hit a Ford Focus carrying the woman and the young boy.
Paramedics found the woman dead on the scene. The child is in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing, but police do not believe drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
Ochoa is being held in the Denton County Jail. He is charged with criminally negligent homicide and injury to a child.
