Denton County To Discuss Transportation
Today begins the first in a week-long series of meetings to discuss mobility-or lack thereof-in Denton County. The Denton County Transportation Authority will host community meetings throughout Denton County to discuss the future of public transportation and to outline results of the first round of data collected during the long-range planning effort. The DCTA's A-Train that's is supposed to be completed by the middle of next year is expected to relieve congestion on I-35.

The plan, once finalized, will define future transit service corridors, identify how to improve transit connections within Denton County, recommend opportunities to expand services, and provide a road map to guide DCTA's investment decisions in the coming decades.
