Deion On Manziel: 'He's A Good Kid'

DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) -- Everybody has an opinion on the rockstar life of quarterback Johnny Manziel. If anyone knows anything about imaging, it's former Cowboys and Hall of Fame CB Deion Sanders.

Sanders joined Shan & RJ on 105.3 The Fan on Friday to discuss the rookie QB.

"The quarterback mold was created by Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Drew Brees, Tom Brady," said Sanders. "When we don't see [partying] from those guys, we kind of think it's wrong because we don't see it. That does not mean that Johnny Manziel has done one thing wrong. We just haven't seen something of his kind. I like it. I love change."

Sanders went on to point out that Manziel hasn't done anything illegal.

"The kid hasn't done anything. They're putting him out there like he's Justin Bieber -- like he's egging folks on and doing wild and rich folks stuff. He's not doing stuff like that. He's a good kid."

Is Jason Garrett to blame for failures?

Brian Urlacher, Randy Moss and Donovan McNabb recently say down to analyze the Dallas Cowboys.

Surprise! They trashed Jason Garrett.

"You can't fire Wade Phillips and hire Jason Garrett and Jason Garrett's doing worse than Wade Phillips was doing," said McNabb on Fox Sports. "That's just not going to get it done. What team is going to follow that?"

Deion was asked about whether or not Garrett is the source of the Cowboys' failures.

"The guys on the field are not doing their jobs. They're calling correct defenses, correct offenses and the players are not making it happen."

Is Garrett to blame?
