Deceased Suspect ID'd As Father Of Other Suspect

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Authorities confirm the man police shot and killed in Fort Worth is the father of the suspect police are still looking for.
Ed Russell McIver Sr, 42, is deceased.
His son, Ed Russell McIver Jr, 20, is on the run.
A Parker Co. Sheriff's spokesperson said McIver Sr. had nine outstanding warrants:
♦ 2 Charges of Bail Jumping, Failure To Appear, a 3rd degree felony, both issued March 11, 2016.
♦ Interference With An Emergency Call
♦ Violate Promise To Appear
♦ Failure To Display Registration on an Trailer
♦ Assault Family Household Member - A 3rd Degree Felony
♦ Aggravated Assault Date, Household With Weapon - A 1st Degree Felony
Tuesday afternoon he was spotted, and Fort Worth Police and U.S. Marshals tried to stop him in Ft. Worth.
The Fort Worth Police officer who was shot during the incident remains in critical condition at JPS Hospital.
