Date Night Ends With Shooting In Northeast Dallas
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) -- Dallas Police are searching for a gunman who opened fire on a vehicle overnight in Northeast Dallas and fled the scene.
According to police, a man and his girlfriend spent the evening at the movies. The man had dropped his girlfriend off and was heading home when he noticed a vehicle following him.
When the victim stopped his car around 2:30 a.m., a man stepped from the following car and fired several rounds at the victim's vehicle, striking him once in the leg. The victim was able to drive back to his girlfriend's apartment. He was then transported to Baylor Hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Police do not have a motive in the shooting and are searching for a white, four-door sedan -- possibly a Chevy or Ford model.
