Dallas SWAT Apprehends Barricaded Murder Suspect

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) -- Dallas SWAT apprehended a man suspected of murder after the suspect barricaded himself inside a home on Friday afternoon.
Police located the suspect, Daniel Olsen, in the 300 block of Patton Street around 12:45 p.m. Friday. Olsen fled and barricaded himself inside a home.
SWAT responded to the location after Olsen refused to exit the residence. He was then taken into custody without incident at 3:00 p.m. He is being held on $500,000.00 bond.
Olsen is suspected of shooting and killing 30-year-old Ryan Wurster Tuesday night in the 200 block of West Millett Drive in south Dallas.
Police say Wurster and a witness were involved in an altercation with Olsen, who shot Wurster multiple times. The witness was also shot in the incident and was transported in stable condition. She is expected to recover.
The witness was able to identify Olsen as the shooter.
According to the police report, the witness and Wurster traveled to the location to purchase drugs. When Wurster attempted to leave the location, the witness says Olsen shot the victim multiple times.
