DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Something caught fire on a conveyor belt at the USPS distribution center at 2400 I-30 between Hampton Road and Westmoreland Road shortly before midnight, according to Dallas Fire-Rescue.

There were approximately 115 people inside the facility when the fire began, but everyone was able to make it out safely as all employees were accounted for outside the facility.

Though the fire, which was ruled accidental, was put out relatively quickly according to the fire department, a third alarm was transmitted for the manpower needed to clear smoke from the 750,000 square foot building.

One firefighter had to be taken to the hospital after suffering a minor injury resulting from a slip and fall.

As the conveyer built belt continued traveling through the facility, pieces fell from it and subsequently started several small fires that also had to be extinguished.
