Dallas Police Seek Triple Shooting Suspect

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Police in Dallas are searching for a man who shot three people inside a restaurant. The incident happened very early Wednesday morning inside Las Hamacas Restaurante, located in the 10300 block of Denton Drive.

Officials have not yet released very much information about the shooting.

Much of the investigation took place inside of the restaurant, where police interviewed witnesses and said they developed several leads in the case.

According to authorities, after some type of altercation a man shot three other men who were sitting in the the restaurant's bar area, which is separate from the dining room. One of the three men has injuries more serious than the other two victims. All three people were taken to a nearby hospital.

The victims have only been identified as 22-year-old, 27-year-old and 33-year-old Hispanic males.

A woman who works at the restaurant was inside at the time of the shooting, but hid in the bathroom and was not injured. After question her and others police left the scene before 6:00 a.m.

The description of the suspect is not specific, but police know he fled from the scene right after the shooting. It is still not clear what led up to the violent incident.
