DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The Dallas Police Department released a video on Monday showing a suspected robber using a stolen debit card at the West End DART station.
Authorities said that an individual was jogging on the Katy Trail when he was robbed by two black males around 9:40 p.m. on Thursday, October 29. The debit card was used 30 minutes after the jogger was robbed.
There have been numerous other occurrences like this on the trail recently. Just last week, police said that they were stepping up patrols on the popular path after suspects robbed five people over the course of three days, all at different times.
If you have any additional information about his offense, or you recognize the individual seen in this video, please contact the Dallas Police Department's Robbery Unit at 214-671-3584 or Crime Stoppers at 214-373-8477.

In the meantime, those who frequent the Katy Trail are urged to be extra cautious. Take note of trail markers so that you give a 911 operator your location. And, if you use earbuds while exercising, just put one in so that you can hear your surroundings.
