Dallas Police Officer Arrested For Family Violence Assault
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The Dallas Police Department said Officer Richard Council was arrested Saturday for family violence assault and interference with an emergency call.
Officer Council is a 3-year veteran with the department and is currently assigned to the Northwest Patrol Division.
He is on administrative leave pending an Internal Affairs investigation.
Dallas Police released no further details on the case Saturday night.
