Dallas PD: Woman Shot In "Family Violence" Incident

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) — A woman was shot in an incident Dallas police called a "family violence" case.
Officers responded to a report about a shooting in the 9500 block of Forest Lane around 9:30 p.m. Saturday. Police found the gunshot victim, a 34-year-old woman, lying on her back, according to the department.
Police say the woman told officers the identity of the suspect, who had fled the location before officers arrived.
The victim was taken to a hospital. Her condition is not known.
