Dallas Man's Frozen Body Found In Wyoming
JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) - A frozen body found near Jackson has been identified as that of a 59-year-old man from Dallas.
Hunters found the body partially buried in snow Saturday morning above Cache Creek, and the Jackson Hole News and Guide reports that authorities identified the man Monday as David Wayne Percival.
Teton County Sheriff's Sgt. Todd Stanyon says he suspects the man died of either natural causes or an accident.
Percival looked to be prepared for a day-hike but it's not known what he was doing in the area. The spot where he was found is about 1,300 feet above the Cache Creek parking area but it's not near any established trail.
An autopsy was performed Monday, but no other information was released.
