Dallas Love Field On 'Security Hold' Due To Suspicious Bag

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM)- DALLAS -- Parts of Love Field Airport were on a "security hold" Saturday night after getting reports of a suspicious bag.
Several inbound flights were in hold patterns, avoiding landing.
Love Filed Airport released an official statement saying around 4:00 PM, a Love Field K9 element was alerted to piece of luggage during their routine duties.
For precautionary reasons, that area of the terminal was evacuated.
The Department's Explosive Ordinance Division responded to the scene. After investigating the luggage, it was determined no explosives were found.
The suspicious bag caused police to shutdown check-in and security checkpoint at several counters.
