Dallas Kimball Tops Alamo Heights To Reach State Final

AUSTIN (AP) - Keith Frazier scored 22 points and made a critical free throw with 17 seconds left to carry defending state champion Dallas Kimball to a 47-43 victory over San Antonio Alamo Heights in the Class 4A semifinals Thursday night.

Dylan Lieck made consecutive 3-pointers to pull Alamo Heights within 46-43 with 22 seconds left before Frazier made one of two free throws for the final margin. Both teams traded turnovers in the final seconds before Lieck got off a desperation 3-pointer that missed and Kimball grabbed the rebound.

Frazier made four 3-pointers for Kimball (33-5), which advances to the state final for the third time since 2009.

Ben Lammers had 14 points and 12 rebounds Lieck scored 12 for Alamo Heights (34-3).
