Fugitive Arrested After Being On The Run For Two Years

Brian Maurice Fuller was arrested Sunday morning after being on the run from police for two year. Fuller is accused of beating and robbing a North Texas woman in 2010.

NORTH TEXAS - (CBSDFW.COM) - CBS 11's J.D. Miles has learned that a North Texas fugitive was arrested in Anderson County Sunday morning.

Brian Maurice Fuller and one other man are accused in the 2010 robbery and beating of a Highland Park woman who was robbed of her 7.5-carat diamond ring. The robbery happened in the parking lot of a Whole Foods Store on Preston Road.

Jill Katz, the victim was severely injured and underwent months of recovery.

Fuller was arrested in February 2010.

CBS 11 News reported Fuller jumped bail later that year after a magistrate lowered his bond from $500,000 to $50,000 despite a long criminal history, outstanding warrants and a probation violation.

He had been on the run ever since.

Two weeks ago Fuller was profiled on America's Most Wanted.

Authorities began following Fuller's trail after the profile. The arrested was made Sunday by authorities in the town of Frankston in Anderson County.

Fuller remains in jail there.
