ARLINGTON (105.3 THE FAN) - After sitting on the sidelines since being injured in Week 1 of the NFL season, Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant is set to make his return to the field Sunday as the Cowboys (2-4) welcome the Seattle Seahawks (3-4).
Bryant took the field for pregame warm-ups Sunday at AT&T stadium a little later than usual - but was out catching and throwing passes indicating that he would be active for the game.
Sources say Bryant is wearing a special Nike shoe that has a unique shape and a steel plate in it to help protect his foot.
Earlier in the week, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has said the bone in Dez's foot needed six weeks to heal, and there hasn't been a direct answer to the question of whether it is fully healed.
Bryant returned to the practice field during the bye two weeks ago, doing conditioning work on the side. That continued last week, and the question of a return against the Giants wasn't settled until late in the week.
