ARLINGTON (105.3 THE FAN) - Following his return to the playing field, Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant was upset about alleged 'social media' accusations that he made negative comments following the injury scare to Seattle Seahawks WR Ricardo Lockette.
During the first half, Lockette was knocked unconscious after a hit by Cowboys FS Jeff Heath.
After laying on field for 5-7 minutes, being tended to by team physicians and eventually being immobilized and taken off the field to a local hospital, tempers on both teams flared.
Tempers flared again in the Cowboys locker room following the game when Bryant got emotional with certain members of the media.
An impassioned Dez talked about accusations regarding fallen Ricardo Lockette:
"I would never, ever, ever, ever wish bad on a player who's been knocked down. Stop with the bull.... Not one time did I say 'that's what you get." I got down on one knee and prayed for that man. Don't put clips together and (to make it look otherwise,)" implying the media edited footage to show him in a bad light.
The Cowboys ended up losing the game 13-12.
