Dallas Cowboys Announce Training Camp Schedule
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Following the resolution of the NFL Lockout, the Dallas Cowboys have announced tentative plans for training camp activities in San Antonio.
Players report to San Antonio on Wednesday with the camp opening press conference taking place at 3:00 p.m. in the Alomodome. You can listen live to the press conference on the Dallas Cowboys radio home, 105.3 The Fan.
The first team practice is scheduled for Thursday July 28th and by NFL rules the first three team practices will be conducted without pads. The first available padded practice will be Saturday.
The Cowboys will hold walkthroughs from 10:00a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and then practice 2:30p.m. - 5:30p.m. each day, except for Sunday and August 7, when they will have only the afternoon practices.
The Cowboys will break camp on Wednesday August 10th and open the preseason vs. Denver at Cowboys Stadium Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.
Practices will resume on Saturday August 13th at Cowboys Stadium.
