Cowboys Player Josh Brent Out Of Jail
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Cowboys defensive tackle Josh Brent was released from jail Sunday following a court order.
He was booked into jail last month after testing positive for marijuana a second time.
The pro-athlete is accused of driving drunk in December and crashing his car, which resulted in the death of his team mate Jerry Brown.
Brent's blood-alcohol level at the time was more than twice the legal limit. He was free on a $100,000 bond before failing the second drug test. His trial is scheduled for August.
