GARLAND (CBSDFW.COM) - Police are looking for the person responsible for breaking an election judge's arm and robbing her while she was picking up donuts to bring to election workers Tuesday morning.

The assault happened Monday night at a grocery store in Dallas.

Election judge Lane Sullivan reported the crime to Dallas County Elections Tuesday morning and showed up briefly at her polling place, Memorial Pathway Academy, around 4:45 a.m. but then went home.

There is a replacement judge at Sullivan's poling place and it opened on time without any issues, according to elections administrators.

Dallas Police said the suspect approached the victim in the Tom Thumb grocery store parking lot located in the 6300 block of E. Mockingbird Lane.

Police released surveillance photos of the suspect on Wednesday.

The suspect pointed a handgun at the victim, snatched Sullivan's purse and pushed her to the ground breaking her arm.

The suspect then ran from the location and got into a gray or silver Chevrolet Impala, according to Dallas Police.

He's described as 20-25 years old, 5'9" to 5'11" tall, weighing 150-165 pounds.
