Dallas County Offices Closed Friday To Public & Most Employees
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Officials with Dallas County have decided to close all courts and county offices to the public tomorrow, December 6.
County Judge Clay Lewis Jenkins issued a statement saying that the decision was made, "After a 2 p.m. conference call with federal, state, and local emergency partners and the National Weather Service."
The county closure means all non-essential employees should not report to work.
In addition to closing county offices Judge Jenkins had some suggestions for public business as well. He recommended that "...private businesses use appropriate caution. Please consider allowing employees to work from home when practical as well as consider canceling non-essential events or office hours."
