Dallas Cop Involved In Shooting By Fair Park

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) — Today the Dallas Police Department is investigating a shooting involving one of their own.
Police were called to a house party near Fair Park early Sunday. When officers arrived, they attempted to talk to the suspect in the backyard; instead, the man ran into back into the house.
An officer pursued the suspect, but when he wouldn't stop, the officer tazed him. The suspect pulled a gun on the officer; he responded by shooting the alleged gunman.

The suspect fled the scene on foot. He was lost near the 32nd-block of Reynolds Avenue. No word yet on a motive behind the shooting or if the suspect was hit by the officer's gunfire.
The gunman remains at large today.
CBS 11 is told that a three people shot just before police arrived. They were transported to Baylor Medical Hostpital. Conditions remain unknown.
It is being reported that the event was a graduation party.
