Dallas Club Shooting Leaves 1 Dead & 1 Hurt

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - One man is dead and another man is injured after a shooting at a nightclub in southeast Dallas. The violent incident took place just before 10:00 p.m. Thursday night, when a suspect walked into the Neon Cowboy, located along the C.F. Hawn Freeway, and shouted at two people inside.

Those two people then followed the suspect outside to the parking lot. The suspect opened fire on the two men, striking one man in the head and the other man in the foot. Both men were taken to a local hospital. One of the victims, identified as 43-year-old Charles Savage, was pronounced dead.

Police have identified the suspect, and said that other witnesses inside of the club recognized him, but his name has not been released. At last check, the suspect has not been taken into custody.

There has also been no word yet on a possible motive for the shootings.
