Dak Prescott Breaks Record For Most Pass Attempts Without An Interception

Ryan Mayer

Cowboys rookie quarterback Dak Prescott is having a great start to his inaugural NFL season. Through five weeks, he's completing 69 percent of his passes for 1,239 yards and four touchdowns through the air to go along with three rushing touchdowns.

More importantly, Prescott has taken care of the football. He didn't throw an interception through the first five weeks despite attempting 155 passes. That left him just seven pass attempts short of the all-time record for consecutive pass attempts without an INT.

In the Cowboys game against the Packers on Sunday, Prescott continued his strong play, finding Cole Beasley for an early touchdown.

Then, on the team's second drive, Prescott broke the record by throwing his 163rd pass without an interception.

The guy who previously held the record? Tom Brady. That's some pretty good company for a rookie.
