DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The district attorney in Wichita, Kansas said that he is reviewing the evidence from the domestic violence allegations against Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle.
A statement said that Wichita police have presented their case to District Attorney Marc Bennett and are continuing to investigate the incident. A spokesman for Bennett said that no timeframe has been set for a decision to be made.
Earlier this month, Randle's former girlfriend, Dalia Jacobs, called 911 claiming that he had pointed a gun at a car that their young son was in, and then smashed one of the car's windows. Randle's attorney, Gary Ayers, denies that Randle ever brandished a gun.
Jacobs filed a temporary restraining order against Randle. A hearing on the civil matter was postponed Thursday until next month.
