McLellands' Daughter Calls Kaufman County Murders Domestic Terrorism
KAUFMAN COUNTY (CBS 11 NEWS) - Standing with close family friends, Christina Foreman exclusively talked with CBS 11 about the murder of her mother Cynthia McLelland and her husband Mike McLelland, Kaufman County's District Attorney.
Now, more than one week later, Foreman says, "I don't even know if you can cope with this. Some days you have good days, some days, you have bad days."

On Monday, Foreman, relatives, and family friends attended a ceremony in front of the Kaufman County Courthouse, where they raised the U.S. Honor Flag.
It salutes slain members of the military and law enforcement across the country.
CBS 11's Jack Fink asked Foreman if she could imagine who would have killed the couple. "It was terrible. It takes a special kind of person to do something that evil."
Foreman says she's worried the same thing that happened to her mother and step-father, will happen again.
She says, "Somebody used the word domestic terrorism the other day. That's kind of what it's coming to. You can't attack a public official like that, especially, and now bring a family member into it, and not really attach that word to it, because that's what it is."
Instead of keeping the flag lowered, they raised it to full-staff, to honor the DA and his contributions.
Foreman says the community's response has been, "Overwhelming. We love the Kaufman County community. Mike and Mom loved being here. They were very loved. I think this is beautiful."
Foreman praised federal, state, and local investigators' efforts to solve the case.
Foreman said, "The law enforcement has been great. We really appreciate everything that they have done for us. All the resources that are being extended and hopefully, they'll figure it out before it happens again."
Over the weekend, the organizer of the Honor Flag ceremony, who's also representing Foreman's family, Chris Heisler expressed frustration with the effort to solve the murders, including that of assistant DA Mark Hasse two months ago.
At the ceremony Monday, Heisler clarified what he said, stating the frustration isn't with law enforcement, but with those who know who the killers are.
Heisler says, "The frustration is directed to those individuals. We need them to come forward to bring justice to Kaufman."
Foreman says she wants the public to remain focused on solving the murders. "You need to stand up with your family and your neighbors and say we won't stand for this. We won't allow those people to continue to do what they're doing. We're going to fight back."
Crimestoppers is offering up to $200,000 for information that leads to the arrest and indictment in the McLellands' murders and that of assistant DA Mark Hasse, who was gunned down near the courthouse January 31st.
The U.S. Honor Flag is also collecting contributions that will be forwarded to Kaufman County Crime Stoppers.
