Crews Working To Repair Dallas Water Main Break
DALLAS (CBS 11 NEWS) - Dallas Water Utilities crews are working to repair a water main break in the 9900 block of Marsh Lane, near Walnut Hill Lane, impacting traffic in the north and southbound lanes.
The break happened at about 4:45 p.m. and caused substantial damage and flooded seven residential blocks in the area.
Crews were able to get the water shut off and expect repairs to be completed within 12-16 hours.
No word on what caused the break, which may have caused water damage in several nearby homes. No injuries have been reported.
The American Red Cross is responding to assist residents, who may be without drinking water for hours.
