OXNARD, Calif. (105.3 The Fan) - Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo says that when it comes to injuries and rest, "It's smart to be smart about it."

It seems a Friday afternoon off and treatment for a stye in his left eye is sufficiently "smart,'' as Romo is expected to practice Saturday evening in the club's first pads-on workout of training camp.

"We don't think it's a major thing and we do anticipate him practicing today," coach Jason Garrett said on Saturday morning.
