Cowboys Preseason Schedule, Summer Dates Announced

IRVING (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys are tentatively scheduled to arrive in Oxnard, California for training camp on Thursday, July 28 and will open the 2016 NFL preseason in Los Angeles at the Rams two weeks later, on Sat., Aug. 13, a game that will be nationally-televised by ESPN.
The Cowboys' Game 2 of the preseason will be back in Arlington against the Dolphins on the weekend of August 19-21.
In Week 3, Dallas will be at Seattle (weekend of August 26-28).
In Week 4, the Cowboys will close the preseason at home against the Texans, with the Cowboys' announcement noting that "historically (this game is) on a Thursday, which would be September 1.
