Cowboys prepare for Giants
The Cowboys are tweaking the practice schedule looking for any little edge to improve their game.
They have flipped things to where practice is first followed by meetings. Wade sez they had more energy with the earlier practice. "I think the players were real receptive to it. Most importantly, I think we've practiced well the last two days." The Cowboys also worked out Saturday to get in some extra work for the Monday nighter against the Giants. The bad news….it appears Kyle Kosier is out as he is still in a walking boot and did not practice this week. He's a tough guy, but you just don't take a walking boot off and step into a game situation. That means Montrae Holland will step in to take on the Giants DL which is currently second in the league in sacks.
Funny how Yankees fans leaving the Rangers World Series clinching game last night have resorted to this….it is the old "well we're gonna kick the butts of the Cowboys Monday night." Please.
Finally, Patrick Crayton was not quoted as saying the Cowboys are "soft," as has been kicked around on local shows…Crayton said that sometimes he thought he should have cracked the whip a little more with the young guys. Splitting hairs? You decide.
