Cowboys Keep Falling Behind Early At Home

ARLINGTON (AP) - Tony Romo will spend much of his extended weekend off trying to figure out how the Dallas Cowboys can get off to better starts.

The Cowboys (5-6) have fallen behind by 10 points or more before halftime in each of their last four home games. They lost three of them, and needed a big comeback for an overtime victory against two-win Cleveland.

Rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III, the Heisman Trophy winner from Baylor, led Washington to a 28-point second-quarter outburst on Thanksgiving. The Redskins had a 28-3 lead and held on to beat Dallas 38-31.

After building some much-needed momentum with consecutive victories, while the NFC East-leading New York Giants (6-4) lost two in a row, the Cowboys now are tied for second place with the Redskins.
