Cowboys Give Offensive Play Calling To Callahan
IRVING (105.3 THE FAN) - "I'm completely on board with all decisions that have been made" said Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett regarding the news that Offensive Coordinator coach Bill Callahan will now be calling plays for the Cowboys in 2013.
Owner/GM Jerry Jones confirmed that Callahan was the choice in talking with the media at Valley Ranch on Tuesday. Jones said this decision to change the offensive feel of the Cowboys was made "weeks ago."
However during his daily press conference, Garrett danced around the subject saying, "Bill [Callahan] is a good coach that's been around a long time." and adding that, "play calling is a team effort."
When asked if his philosophy differs from Jerry's in giving media info, Garrett responded saying "you can draw your own conclusions."
