FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas Cowboys center Travis Frederick spends most of his time anchoring the best offensive line in the NFL. In just his third season, Frederick is an All-Pro and established himself as the best at what he does.

However, he has a bigger mission than keeping the rest of his linemates on the same page.

Frederick spends his time off the field tackling initiatives to feed hungry children. In his words, "hunger is preventable" and doesn't take a medical breakthrough to eliminate like a deadly disease requires.

He has teamed up with TangoTab.com, an app that allows people to search for nearby restaurants that give discounts, with a portion of the purchase at the restaurant going to feed children who need it most.

Frederick wants to establish his own foundation in the near future, and is looking for more ways to continue his worthy cause. He said that it breaks his heart to know that there are kids who are sitting in school every day and, instead of worrying about becoming the world's next great mind, their only thought is on where their next meal is going to come from.

Frederick also works very closely with the Cowboys Salvation Army drive.

Travis Frederick, the Cowboys center with the monstrous beard, continues to display a monstrous level of generosity. Tackling child hunger will be his goal way beyond his days of playing professional football.
