Cowboys Backup QB Cassel Active For Week 5

ARLINGTON (105.3 THE FAN) -3rd string Cowboys QB Matt Cassel has been listed as active for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots.
With Tony Romo sidelined by injury for the next several weeks, the Dallas Cowboys have put their faith in Brandon Weeden. Now with Weeden's backup Kellen Moore listed as inactive vs New England, Matt Cassel finally gets the nod to don the Cowboys uniform and the sees the possibility of grabbing some playing time.
Cassel is in his 11th season out of USC. He has 96 career touchdown passes over 90 games.
