Couple In Their 80s In Deadly Crash In Red Oak

RED OAK (CBSDFW.COM) - An 84-year-old woman was killed in a single car crash in Red Oak Tuesday afternoon.

Police say it happened at the intersection of the 900 block of North IH-35E service road and Tater Brown Road within the City of Red Oak.

According to witnesses and physical evidence at the scene, a Toyota 4-Runner drove off the roadway and collided with a concrete drainage culvert.

The driver has been identified as 84-year-old Bernard Conley of Dallas.

The passenger was identified as his wife 81-year-old Antha Conley.

Bernard Conley is currently in critical condition and Antha Conley was pronounced deceased at Methodist Central Hospital in Dallas.

The crash investigation is being conducted by the Red Oak Police Department with the assistance of the Lancaster Police Department.
