Council Approves Fry Street Project
The latest version of the Fry Street Project in Denton includes apartments, retail shops, restaurants and a parking garage. The Denton city council has approved a new zoning plan that clears the way for the re-development plans from Houston-based Dinerstein (diner-styne) Companies.
The area in question includes 4 blocks bordered by Fry, Oak, Hickory and Welch streets. The Morning News says construction is scheduled to begin next year and the development could be open by the summer of 2012.
