Corny Dog Heir's Kidnapper Gets 8 Years
Adolfo Chavez reached a deal with Denton County prosecutors and then pleaded guilty to one count of kidnapping. In December of 2008, three men abducted Amber Fletcher, an heir of the Fletcher Brothers who introduced their Corny Dog at the Texas State Fair 70 years ago. She was not harmed but was left very shaken by the day-long ordeal during which she was blind-folded but recognized the voice of Chavez a former neighbor. Cases against Chavez's partners are still pending.
