NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The makers of Emerald Nuts, Snyder's-Lance, Inc., has issued a voluntary recall for some specific 100 calorie pack items.

The company is recalling a limited number of  Emerald 100 Calorie Pack Roasted & Salted Cashew Halves & Pieces because the packages could contain small pieces of glass.

While there are several flavors of the cashew pieces, the concerns and voluntary recall only covers the roasted and salted cashew halves and pieces with certain UPC codes, best before dates and inner package production codes. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has listed the specific recalled product codes and dates on their website.

Company officials say no injuries have been reported, and while they are still investigating believe the glass may have come from raw cashews received from a supplier.

Anyone who has purchased the recalled cashews is advised not to eat the nuts and to contact Consumer Affairs for a full refund online or by calling 503-364-0399 between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Central Standard Time, Monday – Friday.
