Company Announces Fort Worth Subdivision Expansion
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - More development is coming to north Fort Worth.
Hillwood Properties, a Perot company of real estate investors and developers, laid out expansion plans for AllianceTexas. Hillwood wants to build 3,000 multifamily units over the next 10 years.
Most of the construction would be along Interstate-35W from north Tarrant Parkway to Golden Triangle Boulevard. In a news release, the company said they are expecting growth to allow them to open a new phase of multifamily development every year to 18 months.
"We are committed to the multifamily product sector as a key component of our business strategy," said Hillwood Chairman Ross Perot, Jr.
The company reportedly has hired key staff to head the multifamily management team.
AllianceTexas is built around the Alliance Airport in north Fort Worth and includes businesses, single-family homes and apartments.
According to Hillwood, there are some 265 companies housed at AllianceTexas.
